Where is the bowl game going to be held?

...just had a poke around and there doesn't seem to be a way to find which city is hosting the bowl game. After the game, no problem, before the game, no idea.

This leads to a separate suggestion: could the league admin select the host for each season's bowl? This is the lowest friction way to implement the feature, leaving admins able to come up with innovative ways to select the city.

Side note: does weather and crowd noise impact team performance yet? If so, knowing the stadium would be really helpful.

Weather it seems doesnt really impact team performance though it will impact the game in certain aspects of it.

The weather is simulated and does impact the game - wind will impact the flight path of the ball for both passing and field goals, precipitation will impact footing and turnovers. Heat will impact fatigue as well. In real life there is not a huge impact by weather, but it does have a nominal influence, which is what we're trying to do here as well.

Weather does impact as you describe, but it is minimal. I have studied actual impacts of weather on games and it is more negligible than you might think.
Each season is assigned a random year from the past, and the day of the game gets it weather from Dark Sky (link in the footer) for what actually happened in that city on that day of the year.

The weather has a minor impact on the game, but it's not significant, mainly because if you really study the impact of weather on the NFL (not just listen to the talking heads about it) it is pretty negligible. Also, until there is a way for you to see a forecast and adjust your gameplan accordingly, I don't want there to be a huge impact on one aspect of the game. Some things you'll notice are ball flight path in windy situations, increase in fumbles and slower running in wet conditions. Basically I've tried to include handicaps that are balanced regardless of your game plan until you have more knowledge about the weather when game planning.

Seems like Crowd noise does effect team performance

Home teams get a small attribute boost. Also, crowd noise is tracked and the visiting team will have more false starts if the noise is loud.

Like in the NFL, it's not a huge advantage, but could be enough to tilt the game in the favor of the home team if they are otherwise equal. Unlike the NFL, there are not teams who have a better baseline home field advantage than others (other than the impact of attendance on the crowd noise).

In the Wild Card round often times the away team is a better team - you have a lot of poor divisions sending their winner who wouldn't even be in the playoffs otherwise, and a lot of wild card teams are teams in a tough division that would easily have won some of the other divisions.

your welcome......cant find anything for bowl game locations

**maybe the bowl location is only located after the game so not give anyone any sizable advantage over another person** <--- my 2 cents.

Bowl game locations are randomly selected from the best weather cities + domed stadiums.
