Rams @ Seahawks

Divisional rivalries in the playoffs are generally very tough to call and this one is no exception. As a Seahawks fan it's no surprise that I'm going to side with them.

The big question going in for the Rams is the fitness of Jared Goff, having dislocated his thumb on his throwing hand 2 weeks ago. Although you could argue they looked better with Wolford under Center on his NFL debut in week 17.

Seattle will (as usual) be relying on Russell Wilson to get the job done but he has looked out of sorts in recent weeks - despite the team going 6-1 in the last 7. The D has improved markedly down the stretch. Jamal Adams has developed quickly into the main threat but he missed the latter part of the week 17 game at San Francisco (played in Arizona). However the catalyst behind the upturn in performance from the D has been the acquisition of Carlos Dunlap.

Seahawks games are almost always decided by 7 points or less and this will likely go the same way. I'm hoping Goff starts, although I don't see him playing the full game even if he does. Wolford is raw, although not a rookie and the lack of a crowd at the rechristened Lumen Field can only be good for him, if called upon.

I'm going to say Seahawks by three with a missed FG by the Rams proving the difference.
