Seriously? Every pick a wr?

I recruited GB, Miami, Denver, and The Giants into this league. One team has already quit, because he had a hellacious day yesterday, and forgot about the draft, and now had four wr's. (GB) I offered to trade with him, to try and keep him in the league, which he already tried to drop, but couldn't figure it out. He may have stayed, but now he has six wr's, and I expect after next round it will be seven. This makes other teams reach for wr's, and thins out the talent pool. What fun is this? I already lost a friend, who I brought in, and it makes the draft MUCH less fun.

Why would the AI even do something so stupid?

In league 70 I took over the same team. GB, and by round 14 or 15, they already had six wr, two qb, and like 5 lb's. This makes Zero sense to me.

Is this a team with an owner or an AI team? Which team is it?

My guess at this point is that the user loaded up his manual list with WR's and never changed it. The AI shouldn't do that on its own or even with a properly loaded preference list. It could also be that he turned off all positions except WR's in his preference list.

Not sure what can be done about it, though, if it was indeed done by the settings by the user.

He wanted to quit, after seeing four wr's. My guess is he is as good as gone now that he has six. He would have already, but couldn't figure out how to abandon his team.

Further investigation in the team in league 69 that has all QBs and RBs shows that he did indeed have his preferences set to 0 for every position except QB and RB.

Please don't do that...

It is Green Bay in league 71. It doesn't help either that the Lions are also 6/6 in wr picks as well.

Is this just an example? It is league 71.

The team in league 69 crashed the sim because there were no defensive players on his roster. I didn't know why that was the case until I looked at his draft preferences.

The other two teams appear to have normal draft preferences but it's likely that a user set them after those initial picks were made.

i took over a team in 66 after the allocation draft and they AI drafted like 5 wr's in the first 10 rounds. I'm thinking that the AI will select the highest current rated player despite already having that position. I could be wrong but it seems a lot of teams that have computer draft for them load their teams with wr's.

Ok, I'll revisit the AI logic to make sure it's not messing up in the allocation draft.
