I have 5/6 WR's in my depth chart. How does the game decide which 1/2/3 play each play?
I assumed it would be the top few but it appears not.
Same with the QB - I assumed the top chosen one plays and the other subs in for injury/fatigue?
Quite important as I guess I need to be sure which of my many RB/WR's are actually playing.

Really basic perhaps, but I have 2/3 decent TE's which I've tried to make sure I get the most out of them by using formations which include 1/2 TE's each time. However they don't seem to have been in many plays and barely done anything (yardage etc) :(
3. One more thing: My new team in MFN74 has a WestCoast Offense minded HC; I've been told that the diff being they play many short passes etc. Comparing my playbook there to here (HC is Generally mixed) the new guy has 24 Long Pass plays compared to old guy having 27 Long Pass plays. Not much difference there?!?
1. If it is the preseason the game is going to put the backups in for Wide Receivers so I would imagine it will be 3 thru 6 will be on the field.
If it is the regular season then I think the game decides on the basis of what plays are called to which WRS are in the game.
2. on this one look for plays that have the TE running the distance marked on the play (short routes for short pass plays, medium routes for medium pass plays, and long routes for long pass plays).
You can also put the TE into the WR spot in some formation overrides to get him more touches.
basically by doing those your TEs should be in more plays and get more touches.
3. on this one I would guess it depends on the circumstance to what the coach will do.
Like on short yardage the WC is going to go to the curls/hooks that give them the yards they need .
different coach would probably get more yards than they need like if they need 2 yards they would use a play to get 7+ yards.
