Trade Meter 2

I had an owner offer a trade for a player I just drafted in the third round of the just completed draft. I drafted him at spot 3.24 of the draft. HE went +8,-3 in preseason progression. I went to counter the trade and all I wanted was the third round pick I spent on him back. Was not allowed because it was too lopsided in my favor. Tried offering the player and a 6th for the third.. No good, offered player and 5th, no good.. offered player and a fourth for the third round DP i drafted him with before preseason.. still too lopsided.. Meter is definitely screwed.

IMHO this problem is never going to get fixed all the while we can add our own player weights, the only way around it is if when you enter a trade deal the AI doesn't take into account your own personal weights but instead just uses the default.

That's I think a better idea, cause I switch back and fourth to get an idea of what he might see. Owners reject trades and mention the bar and personally I think the bar is garbage

I don't use personal weights. I use defaults all the time

For trading purposes? I thought of that, but it doesn't look like it works any better.

The trade bar should be using the default weights for its calculation always - to prevent you from getting past it by tweaking your settings. This was not the case on the old interface but is on the new one.

Thank you for confirming this. I've been wondering.

I'm sure this is just a display issue, but when using a mobile device the trade bar is different depending on if you are viewing in landscape or portrait mode.

I had a trade proposed recently that was slightly in my favor in portrait mode, but siginificantly in the other team's favor in landscape mode.

I'm not sure what it showed on my PC.

I find it extremely difficult to make trades on the mobile site while in portrait view. So I always switch to landscape and just click refresh and it fixes the trade bar.
