The Vanderbilt Commodores end their first season under the leadership of GM Thunderbolt and what a season we have experienced. In an exclusive interview with the GM he gave all the credit to the players and the coaching staff. He stated we have begun building our team around certain principles and guidelines. You witnessed this first hand as the season went on you seen a team that never quit and pulled many games out at the last second.
So where do we go now you might ask well its simple. We will continue to grow our coaching staff and our roster to fit what works for us not what other teams try to force us into. Does that mean changes will be made truth is nothing is forever and the decisions will be made for long term success not short term. What we have learned is this is a great league with strong competition which makes every week important. This season we played with a chip on our shoulder all season never breaking into the top ten no matter what we did. Our next move is to put this season behind us and plan for the off season and the draft and then traing camp and pre season in that order.
Finally we want thank all our fans, the league commisioner, and all the teams we played this season for a great season. We see this only getting better and stronger as we pull together and as rivalries begin to appear. We will steer our ship on a winning program that stays in the fight game after game. Swords up stand our ground and never surrender.
