So, show me the players used for your data collection.
It's a simple ask.

Here's the other issue with that. I don't store rosters for the reason that I listed above.

Last year, when I rebuilt the db, I spent a weekend plotting out how to pull rosters and aggregate player attributes and put them along side of plays.

The problem was there was not enough correlation to matter. As long as a WR2 is >70 SP, the Hitch play almost always works. Players will almost always drop passes over 10 yards.

Defensive players really just need to be fast to play M2M coverage (or Zone) because coverage is based on proximity and not skill. And B&R is useful for breakup routes at the line and that's about it.

If you can find some correlation for attributes other than speed, great. I can't.

20 plays... 60-75 plays per game. That is a significant number you just disavowed as useless.

and based on your last response, I guess i should play 90 speed LBs with 10 brc,m2m, and Z. 5 punish? 1 rdef and tackle?
seriously.... if nothing matters other than speed, then prove it.
Get to the player needed.
Sorry tobe adamant, but we bothknow more than speed alone matters, and we both know LBs are key to defending the Hitch..

Tell that to IoT and Smirt. I've seen them both destroy leagues with defenses that do nothing but run fast. I'm just not game enough to play the nothing but speed team. Which is why I don't win as many LCs as I should.

...and I destroy them. That's why they quit my leagues. ;)
Seriously, last i checked, Smirt still had not figured out how to avoid the imaginary injury bug....

This light player at TE was useful last preseason game despite the little skill. But he was fast enough.

Well, you won't play in the big leagues, so I guess I gotta join one of your half-filled puff leagues. Challenge accepted.

it's a matter of time, infinity - it really is.
That stated, glad to have you and seth on board, we welcome the challenge of y'all's analytic talents ;)
What will be will be, but I prefer to max my time towards the leagues I run, and not running the same rules, plays and sliders across 12 leagues.
I also prefer my pencil and brain over any data analysis program, which has always been the point within and underlining my contrariness.
I've never said the analysis' were wrong, I've always pointed out other ways to achieve the same or better results. The work is superb.

It's going to be a heck of a lot of fun, and a learning experience for the open minded.
We all play our game, and I feel my time is better spent focusing on the 2 leagues I run, and providing a competitive team in those leagues.
The GMs in those leagues deserve my full attention. They play hard.

For my experience, it will be nice to see in person what the program spit out.
..and then beat it.

Y'all can come to me (and now have - as others hopefully will), I've got great people to run a league for - and now you are part of that awesome crowd :)
